Hey, I've got a question about commissions. Do you pay taxes from them? Because it is a thing they never say in commisions tutorials, and I think people simply don't pay it. Though it seems like you should right. I mean money coming on your account from time to time can look suspicious of some kind.

Hello! Can you tell me what inks did you use for the tiger drawing? Also I speculate you have few sizes of inks, what sizes are those?

I used an old micron brush pen for the blacks. The tip is a little frayed from use, which gives it that thin multiple strokes look when i use it delicately. :)  Also I used a few prismacolor/utrecht markers (10, 50, and an almost dried out 30% cool grey)

Some doodles from the Old Kingdom book series, specifically the second book Lirael. I really want to do a nice big piece for this series when I get some spare time!
I really have to recommend this series. I won’t spoil anything important, but it’s a fantasy series about a world where people use magic to raise the dead and cast spells, and specifically, its about those who fight the dead to protect the living. It’s a bit like a Miyazaki film with the use of awesome female characters and magic animals and fantastic world building, but if Miyazaki was a lot darker and had characters go in and out of the realm of death.
I didn’t think I would like a character as much as Sabriel, the titular character of book 1, but I fell in love with Lirael pretty quickly because she is natured a lot like me. She is very introverted, and deals with depression, alienation and suicidal thoughts. Her story arc over the course of the 2nd and 3rd books in the series is just incredible, and she shows a level of grit and fortitude not usually seen in many female characters in today’s media.
And if you’re not sold on the series yet, there’s a huge library full of old magic, hidden secrets, and monsters and is so dangerous, the librarians are often in danger of getting lost or injured (puts Hogwarts’ to shame ha ha). The whole world and it’s history is incredibly detailed and lavish, yet the author holds back just enough information to keep things a tantalizing mystery. Also the audiobook is by TIM CURRY which is how I read the series, and I would not recommend listening to it driving alone at night down old country roads!! Very creepy haha!

The fourth installment of the series is set to come out in the US in October I believe, so it’s the perfect time to pick up the series. I haven’t been this impressed with a book serialization in ages. 10/10!

expect more fanart of this world from me!!
